Welcome To Harris Heritage Pugs

Hello, we’re Emily and Jacob Harris, the couple behind Harris Heritage Pugs. For nearly two decades, we have been dedicated to raising healthy, well-socialized Pug puppies and preserving the lovable, humorous, and affectionate temperament that makes this breed so special.

Our passion for Pugs began with our first show dog many years ago and has grown into a lifelong commitment to responsible breeding, ethical practices, and helping families across the United States find exceptional, well-bred Pug companions.

If you’re searching for Pug puppies for sale in the USA from a trustworthy, small-scale breeder, we’d be honored to guide you in selecting your new family member.

Our Commitment to Health and Quality

At Harris Heritage Pugs, we emphasize health, temperament, and correct breed structure. Each of our adult Pugs is carefully screened through comprehensive health testing designed to reduce hereditary risks and support long-term well-being.

Our health screening includes:

  • OFA Heart Certification

  • OFA Respiratory Evaluation (BOAS Assessment)

  • OFA/CERF Eye Certification

  • Patella Evaluation

  • Full DNA and genetic testing for breed-relevant conditions

While no breeder can promise a lifetime free of health issues, our program focuses on thoughtful genetic planning, selective pairing, and ethical breeding practices that promote improved breathing structure, strong joints, and stable, friendly temperaments.

Every puppy from Harris Heritage Pugs comes with a 2-year written health guarantee for added peace of mind.

Raised in Our Home With Care and Attention

All of our Pugs are raised inside our home—not in kennels. From birth, each puppy is handled daily, cared for closely, and socialized with our children, friends, and family. This hands-on approach helps shape confident, adaptable puppies with gentle, outgoing personalities.

Our puppies experience:

  • Normal household activity

  • Early sensory and confidence-building exposure

  • Interaction with adults, children, and visitors

  • Beginning stages of basic manners and crate familiarity

This ensures that every puppy leaves our home well-adjusted, social, and ready for family life.

Our Promise to You

To maintain quality and preserve our program’s integrity, all puppies are placed on a spay/neuter agreement, unless otherwise discussed.

We proudly offer lifetime breeder support. Whether you have questions about training, diet, health, or general Pug behavior, we are always here to help you navigate puppyhood and beyond.

We work with families throughout the United States and can arrange safe, reliable transportation through trusted ground and flight carriers. Wherever you live, we can help bring your new Pug puppy home comfortably and securely.
